Hoppin' Handgun Hajji getting a pass from the "Muslim-In-Chief"?

Ok Mr. Rational, wow, where do I start.... I don't pretend to know the particulars of his enlistment cntract but what I do know is that he was 1 a Major and 2 a POG (Person Other than Grunt) a headshrinker, so even if he did have to go he would be sitting all safe and sound in the middle of a big base. It is basicly like being on vacation for them. 4 meals a day if they want, movies, video games, a pool on most big bases, ice cream, heck they even have Mosques! So even if he couldn't resign and had to go he still would have been paid much better than state side to go relax poolside and get a better tan. How dare I say it's like being on vacation? I was over there for 18 months as a non-commissioned officer, a combat Infantryman in a maneuver unit. The guys on the tiny FOBs who actually go out and hunt bombs before they blow up other Americans, and hunt scum bag Hajjis like this puke. Once in a blue moon they would send us from our little bases to the big ones for a day or two of relaxation, that is if we could find any space not occupied by the POGs. I'm not saying they aren't important because they are but the majority of them never hear a shot fired in anger or even a distant boom and as with his rank and job he would not have had a thing to worry about or have been actively working against his fellow terrorists. So it's just a cop out on his part and that of the media.

 I do agree with you that the reason is important but only for the prevention of future attacks and to find others with the same sick convictions as he has. How he felt or if his puppy got run over in the fifth grade, or if the other soldiers hurt his feelings I don't give one crap about, none of that justifies what he did and is a non-issue. If he was having a rough time then he needs to do just like everyone else and put his big girl panties on and get over it.

 As soon as we found a bit of common ground there you went and jumped off the deep end on your obama crusade didn't ya? I nor the other individual leaving a comment ever said this particular nut job terrorist was obamabs fault. My point, apparently missed, was that instead of coming out and whole heartedly condemming this freak and stating that this is an example of why we need to root out and destroy Islamic extreemists, and throwing in a promise to find any others involved or associated with him in his terrorist views and actions he instead seemed to want to tip toe around the situation.

 All the facts don't need to be in for us to know this was a sick cold blooded murdering terrorist. That's all I was asking for from him. Had he come out with that and gone to visit the wounded and the families of the murder victims as G.W. and his wife did the next day, the I would have had to give him cool points albeit through much gritted teeth. Where the time machine thing came from or how you got that I was contributing the actions to obama I have no idea. Oh, and FYI, in order for good ol barrack to have recruited him the coward "President" would have had to actually serve in the military.

 Now for your gutless comment on the Republicans, I'll give you that, they are a bunch of gutless cowards and cheats, just like every other politician at that level. Which is one huge reason why their party fell apart in this last major election. But where I am forced by facts to diverge from your statement is the reason why they want to cut and run. By the way, the cut and run policy has been championed and shouted by the liberals for years and years to include his excelency barrack, in fact wasn't that yet another of his plethora of unfulfilled campaign promises? So don't even act like it all of the sudden is the Republicans thinking this thing up.

  I have been one of the biggest proponents of the War on Terror in whatever country it may be occouring. I believe it to be right and just and not only our responsibility but our very existence depends on it.

 When I went to Iraq I was constantly asked by the Iraqi people when we were going to take their government back over so they could have the basic services again, and when were we going to go back to the powerful, brutal way of fighting that they had seen from us in both invasions and stop playing games with the terrorists so they could go to sleep without fear at night, so their kids could go to school and not worry about one of the Mahdi Militia killing them because they had helped the Americans at one time or the other.

 Even when I was there in 2006 and 2007 the neutering of the worlds most powerful war machine had begun and we saw many of these people butchered and their homes burned while we were prevented from doing anything about it because the militias were hiding just across a border somewhere or were Iranian military (don't hear any of that on CNN do ya sport?).

 Why, do you ask? Me too. The answer is that all the brass was so scared of the media that they hobbled their soldiers so that they wouldn't be in command of the next blown out of proportion supposed "scanda"l. A joke like Abu Graihb, or water boarding..... in an active duty Infantry unit you have worse things done to you as a new guy, yet the media freaks out that we may be hurting the feelings of known murdering terrorist thugs. Booh hooh. Cry me a river.

 Long story to set up my point, but it is that even though it was beginning back then while still under G.W. Bush (forever my Commander-In-Chief) it was nothing compared to what happened when the knight in shining armor himself rode into office on his horse of "change" chanting really nifty slogans like "Yes we can!"

 Our interpretors and all other Iraqi's working with us were absolutely terrified of this election, they were scared to death that we would get someone who is a coward and who the terrorist groups would not respect, and for good reason as many of them and their families have now been murdered in their homes while our armed forces have been forbidden to do anything about it.

 How do I know this? Straight from the source, Some of the men who served with and under me when I was in Iraq are back over there now (my wife and kids would not allow me to extend another time.) The guys let me know that they are basicly wasting time and money there now. They are not allowed to even return fire, they have to duck into their humvees and flee the fire fight. The only way they are allowed to return fire is if they can no longer run away. Then they have to worry about being arrested by the Iraqi police or their own unit for murder! Yeah, that's right, a foreign power NOW has the ability to arrest American soldiers for protecting themselves!

 If an Iraqi Policeman had even threatened to arrest us when I was there he would be on the next magic carpet ride to Allah. Not now, you get the clink for life in either a military prison or worse yet an Iraqi prison. I'm not sure if they are extraditing the Joes to the US or not but it shouldn't even be a worry. Oh, and when they do find a bomb, now they have to cordon it off and call the Iraqi EOD (bomb squad) which has recently been heavily infiltrated by the terrorists, wait for them to show up, walk over, pick it up, put it in their truck, drive it to the militia HQ and put it right back into terrorists hands for the Americans  to find or get blown up by tomorrow, sounds like a great idea huh?

  Maybe barrack hasn't implemented every new rule and regulation but he has either put the people in place to do it for him or bullied others into doing it. All this has come about in his, as you pointed, out short year in office. Aren't you proud? I know I am, go team barrack, "Yes we did!" and all that other BS the obamatrons shout.

  So here's the long and short of it. If this is the way that the coward-in-chief wants to "fight" a war or the commanders in the field are so scared that they and their soldiers going to prison for doing what the country asked them to do, then yeah, I say cut and run too because it's murdering many fine young soldiers and wasting millions of dollars every day if we stay and just go through the motions. If the coward won't let us fight then why put that many more American lives in the blender with their hands tied behind their backs? It is a slap in the face of every soldier who has died or been wounded or even served over there to pull out before the job is done, and I hate it for the Iraqi people who have stood up for their country and now will become fertilizer but the way we are fighting now under his holiness is having the same result so I say, bring them home and when we have someone with some intestinal fortitude in office lets make it open season on terrorists again. I hope that God holds these Politicians, media members, and brown nosing officers who are perpetuating this cowardly cycle responsible in part for every soldier murdered over there now as a result of their ineptitude and in my opinion down right treason. I believe that there is a special extra spicy section of hell waiting for them, and I hope I get a chance to shovel some coal into the furnace.
