Barack Obama is setting a record-setting number of records during his first year in office.

Largest budget ever. Largest deficit ever. Largest number of broken promises ever. Most self-serving speeches ever. Largest number of agenda-setting failures ever. Fastest dive in popularity ever.

Wow. Talk about change.

Just one year ago, fresh from his inauguration celebrations, President Obama was flying high. After one of the nation’s most inspiring political campaigns, the election of America’s first black president had captured the hopes and dreams of millions. To his devout followers, it was inconceivable that a year later his administration would be gripped in self-imposed crisis.

Of course, they don’t see it as self imposed. It’s all George Bush’s fault.

George Bush, who doesn’t have a vote in Congress and who no longer occupies the White House, is to blame for it all.

He broke Obama’s promise to put all bills on the White House web site for five days before signing them.

He broke Obama’s promise to have the congressional health care negotiations broadcast live on C-SPAN.

He broke Obama’s promise to end earmarks.

He broke Obama’s promise to keep unemployment from rising above 8 percent.

He broke Obama’s promise to close the detention center at Guantanamo in the first year.

He broke Obama’s promise to make peace with direct, no pre-condition talks with America’s most hate-filled enemies during his first year in office, ushering in a new era of global cooperation.

He broke Obama’s promise to end the hiring of former lobbyists into high White House jobs.

He broke Obama’s promise to end no-compete contracts with the government.

He broke Obama’s promise to disclose the names of all attendees at closed White House meetings.

He broke Obama’s promise for a new era of bipartisan cooperation in all matters.

He broke Obama’s promise to have chosen a home church to attend Sunday services with his family by Easter of last year.

Yes, it’s all George Bush’s fault. President Obama is nothing more than a puppet in the never-ending, failed Bush administration.

If only George Bush wasn’t still in charge, all of President Obama’s problems would be solved. His promises would have been kept, the economy would be back on track, Iran would have stopped its work on developing a nuclear bomb and would be negotiating a peace treaty with Israel, North Korea would have ended its tyrannical regime, and integrity would have been restored to the federal government.

Oh, and did I mention what it would be like if the Democrats, under the leadership of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, didn’t have the heavy yoke of George Bush around their necks. There would be no earmarks, no closed-door drafting of bills, no increase in deficit spending, no special-interest influence (unions), no vote buying (Nebraska, Louisiana).

If only George Bush wasn’t still in charge, we’d have real change by now.

All the broken promises, all the failed legislation and delay (health care reform, immigration reform) is not President Obama’s fault or the fault of the Democrat-controlled Congress. It’s all George Bush’s fault.

Take for example the decision of Eric Holder, the president’s attorney general, to hold terrorists’ trials in New York City. Or his decision to try the Christmas Day underpants bomber as a civilian.

Two disastrous decisions.

Certainly those were bad judgments based on poor advice from George Bush.

Need more proof?

You might recall that when Scott Brown won last month’s election to the U.S. Senate from Massachusetts, capturing “the Ted Kennedy seat,” President Obama said that Brown’s victory was the result of the same voter anger that propelled Obama into office in 2008. People were still angry about George Bush and the policies of the past 10 years, and they wanted change.

Yes, according to the president, the voter rebellion in Massachusetts last month was George Bush’s fault.

Therefore, in retaliation, they elected a Republican to the Ted Kennedy seat, ending a half-century of domination by Democrats.

It is all George Bush’s fault.

Will the failed administration of George Bush ever end, and the time for hope and change ever arrive?

Will President Obama ever accept responsibility for something — anything?

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama's top economic adviser said Sunday he believes Congress will pass new oversight rules for the financial industry.

Lawrence Summers also said putting even more Americans back to work is a White House "preoccupation."

Saying the employment trend has turned, Summers cautioned that "to get back to the surface we've got a long way to go."

"It is the president's preoccupation to put people back to work," he said.

He also criticized Republicans who are holding up an extension of unemployment benefits, saying the economy still needs emergency action.

On the overhaul of the financial regulatory system, which Obama has said he wants to see passed in the Senate within two weeks, Summers said, "I expect that reform is going to pass."

He said he did not see how the measure could fail "given what we've been through" in the deepest recession in more than 50 years.

Summers predicted the economy will continue creating jobs but slowly and that the unemployment rate will decline slowly because more people will start trying to find work as the economy improves.

He spoke on ABC's "This Week" and CNN's "State of the Union."

Yeah, here they come again with their bull dozers. Their healthcare was a test drive, now they are going to goose step their way right over top of us again and again. Can Prime Minister Alawi salvage the mess obama is leaving him in Iraq?

I am very pleased that Mr. Alawi has won the Election in Iraq. Mr. Alawi was Prime Minister of Iraq previous to the two faced recent Prime Minister Al-Maliki. Maliki in my opinion did a terrible job with Iraq in his recent administration of the struggling nation. Maliki (the Prime Minister when I was in Iraq) was only luke warm to the United States and our efforts in his nation. He was similar to a welfare crack head in that he was all about the US spending our Billions there and lining his pockets, but he became squeemish and at times beligerant when it came time for the US Soldiers to provide our favorite service- as Mr. Toby Kieth puts it "We'll put our boot in your A@# it's the American way!" Miliki attempted to hobble the American combat soldiers doing their jobs it seems in every way possible. He was the Iraqi Prime Minister who asked our government to kick out the unfairly black balled but incredibly effective security entity, the company formerly known as "BLACKWATER". He was very pro Iran which many of the Shia Iraqi's are as Iran is a Shia state. But his bias in favor of Iran allowed many weapons and IED's to cross the border into Iraq and kill and wound our soldiers, in particular the extreemely effective EFP (Explosive Formed Projectile). He seemed to have his strings pulled from across the border. In fact Iran's stooge Anti-American Cleric Muhktada Al-Sadhr, who controls the Mahdi Militia (the premier anti US force of terrorists in Southern Iraq from Sadhr City -the southern part of Baghdad- on down) was allowed to operate and move with impunity in Iraq, his Mahdi Militia not even officially targeted by the US forces because Al-Sadhr enjoyed protection by Maliki. When US forces were getting close to nailing Al-Sadhr they were called off as requested by Maliki.

Mr. Alawi is much more pro American, and is very anti Iran. He will put an honest effort to seal the border between Iraq and Iran, slowing the flow of weapons, IEDs, foreign fighters, and Iranian Special Operations Soldiers who come across the border disguised as religious pilgrims on busses on their way to pray at Iraqi holy sites. Pilgrims who Maliki seriously frowned on us searching and questioning. Alawi also will not offer quarter to Al-Sadhr or his Mahdi goons unless they lay down their arms.

While I am sure PM Alawi will put a real effort to stabilize and unite his country which is to be YET AGAIN abandoned by the United States can he pull it off or is the writing already on the wall? One of the main reasons why we have problems with the Shia people. Bush senior listened to the coward and career/political minded Colin Powell, pulling plug on Operation Desert Storm allowing the brutal murderer Hussein to retain power, his military units and weapons. THEN Bush senior told the Iraqi people on every media possible to rise up and stand against their dictator and the US would back the rebelion, we couldn't invade again but we would assist in every way possible. When the Shia people believed him, rose up in open rebelion Saddam then sent his butchers about their work to include his Mi-24 Hind attack helicopters slaughtering them in mass. Bush senior then turned and looked the other way giving no support whatsoever. Much the same as Kennedy turned a blind eye to the Bay of Pigs invasion force, abandoning them in place after promising full support in any manner needed. The uprising crushed; Saddam went into punishment mode. Anyone even thought to be connected to it was arrested, their families were raped and beaten in front of them then the fathers were tortured to death in front of the families, some even fed into into a special ordered wood chipper feet first while alive. Many of the shia terrorists we fight now are products of that betrayal, raped, beaten and forced to watch their father tortured to death because they believed the US. We as a nation have been slowly abandoning and betraying the Iraqi people over the years as Iraq slowly transformed from a war to a sad joke thanks to the traitorous media, and the soulless politicians who led by the Pied Piper himself barrack hussein obama convinced the American public that the Iraq War was illegal, immoral, and that they were stupid if they didn't agree. Just like the Emperor's new clothes. The US forces in Iraq now may as well not be. It is yet again a neutered, hobbled giant which is withering away soon to be totally gone; evaporating into another betrayal of the Iraqi people.

The nation is sharply divided again. Alawi narrowly won the race with a large show of support from the Suni population since Maliki tried to discount their representation in Parliment by attempting to scrub from the ballots any candidate who has been accused of having ties to the Saddam Regime, obviously mainly Suni candidates. Minister Alawi has already taken steps to reach out to his rivals and their followers in an effort to unify the divided nation. A good move on his part. The questions remain though, without meaningful American support, will he be able to pull together enough support to accomplish what he needs to in order to save his country from falling back to divided tribal warfare or united under an iron fist of another despot? Will he be able to remain alive long enough? What will happen when he rebuffs Irans attempt at establishing Iraq as a dummy state? Will there be a second Iran & Iraq war? Will the US aid Iraq in their fight?

I believe that the Iraqi public made the right choice in this election. I and my Iraqi interpretors I still have contact with believe that Prime Minister Alawi is Iraq's last hope. Let's hope that God helps Prime Minister Alawi and the Iraqi nation because the US has ceased to. Good luck Mr. Alawi.

Political Suicide or something very scary?

Aren't you glad that your enlightened, socialist, bully political leadership know so much more than you lowly, ignorant serfs? I sure am! Big Brother is just doing it's job after all! How does the House even dare call themselves "Representatives"!?! Dirt bags! They don't care what you or I or 80%+ of the rest of the American populace thinks. That is a VERY SCARY FACT! None of the Congressmen ro Senators want to lose their seats. The President always wants another term, especially one so ambitious as obama. What does it mean then when they flagrantly, and with a smirk on their faces blow off the vast majority of the American opinion? This should be political suicide. Why would they then proceed Especially after the recent Mass. election? Does this mean they already know that the elections of the future will be fixed? There is a very real possibility (and my personal opinion) that they will simply refuse to relinquish their seats and the Presidentcy when they are voted out. They have completely disreguarded the Constitution thus far why not elections and term limits. There is also a provision I have read about that allows for the President to continue past their term limit if the Nation is at war. G.W. didn't utalize it because one he would have been crucified by the media as a diuctator and a despot, two because I am sure he was dead tired of being the whipping boy. Is this possibly why he hasn't made any attempt to really pull the plug on the whole War on Terror? Just a few of my thoughts, I am curious to hear some of yours on the topic.

I mean pilots who were just reflecting Uncle Sam's violence back on him. OOOHHHH, now is a good time to toss in some beloved psychology! We were projecting our own terroristic and evil ways on to those peace loving Muslim pilots who had no choice but to crash into 3 buildings and a field in Pennsylvania in order to show us the folly of our ways right? That worked really well for all those un-armed passengers on the airliners turned cruise missiles, worked out well for those un-armed individuals who minding their own business just decided to go to work one day. Can you believe the arrogance? I'm sure some one in one of those towers must have had a pocket knife or a dreaded letter opener and THAT was the target. Don't they see how simple it all is. Just drop your weapons people! Don't hurt one another, enhance your chi.

FYI, there are two (the number AFTER one) types of soldiers. First there are the "soft skill" soldiers which comprise probably over 80% of the military, they are there to support the other 20% of the military and HELP the people in whatever crap hole country our government deems in need of assistance, they are good people and mostly have a real genuine desire to make the said country and people better than they were before our infidel boots cursed the holy expanse of sand. Group two, which is where I fall would be the "Combat Arms" or pointy end of the stick. We do the actual shooting and scooting. Most of us had high enough scores to do any job in the Military myself included but chose to be the dark, unappreciated monster who stands between our great nation, our loved ones, all the innocents, all those whom our government bids us protect. Yes even the malcontent COWARDS who sit back in their comfy arm chairs leaching off of the system and never contributing anything but radical views and demand super compliance to their wishes and wants which are 180 degrees out of phase from what made our nation the greatest the world has ever seen. They throw verbal eggs, pick, whine and complain- then proclaim themselves to be the true Patriots as they are tearing down the corrupt war machine that is America. Destroying it to save it. HAHA, if this weren't real it'd be a hilarious Saturday Night Live sketch.

So yes there are those soldiers such as myself and the men I served with who do put their humanity on hold, put their souls in deep freeze and try daily to become the meanest, most ruthless nightmare that the enemy has ever come across and those who are on the fence as to their side are terrified to cross and in so doing curtail their further aggression against Americans in spite of the linguini spined career, focused, yes men who are commanding the worlds most powerful war machine. In spite of the sensational story seeking, activist, soap opera actors thinly disguising themselves as reporters and news anchors. All the while trying to maintain some of our old selves so when or if we go home we won't be the square peg trying to fit back into the round hole. This is why we become so livid when a know nothing nit whit throws out platitudes and fancy slogans, showcasing their ignorance and emboldening the enemy. (By the way, how do you know what most Afghan people think of us, have you been there, have you walked Kabul in your burka taking a survey? Nope... watching too much CNN right? So sit down shut up and LISTEN to those who HAVE been there!) The majority of the Iraqi's I met liked us and wanted us to take their government back so that it could function again as it did before we handed it back to their fellow Iraqi's. They were absolutely beside themselves with horror from watching the "news" before the election because they knew if a liberal took office they would neuter the US Military in country and turn full control over to their people. Basically cut and run just like at the end of Vietnam, just like Somalia- one of your beloved "peace keeping missions" run by the joke that is the U.N. which... News flash... still require the evil GUNS.

I was an Infantryman (written job description= close with and destroy the enemy) and a squad leader of some of the best men any Military in the world has ever fielded. There are good men, who we knew or were acquainted with that died, fathers, husbands and sons never to return to their families, young men, burned or missing appendages, and every actual combat soldier who left that place mentally damaged (not just the ones who knew it was wrong, yet again a self imposed expert giving BS disguised as fact). Why you ask, why did I not take the waiver offered me before Iraq for a recently blown out knee, why did I voluntarily extend half a year beyond the required 365 days? Why did we volunteer to go to the sunny side of hell and get shot at, try to find road side bombs before they blew up a convoy or a civilian vehicle, why go days without sleep, live crammed into a small hot plywood hut with 13 other guys while trying to sleep through mortars raining down in and around the little base? Easy, it was the best job I've EVER had. Besides the rush offered daily to we alpha male types, these sacrifices were made 1 because we are giving the Iraqi's the chance to secure freedoms that you, your ingrate buddies and sadly a growing number of the general populace take for granted, squander and allow the government to usurp from the people day after day in the name of "progress". We also did this to keep the war there.

I unlike you or any of those idiot commentators have during..... get to know each other question and answer period chit chats with captured red handed terrorists have been told by they themselves with their cold stare in paraphrased and edited words that "We know the American populace is stupid, weak and cowardly and that the media and continual guerrilla attacks will convince the people that Iraq isn't worth fighting for. Then they will take you soldiers home. We will follow you home, and kill you, your families and every American we can." Does that sound like someone you can just put the weapons down, give a hug to and over a steamy cup of Chai work out their grievances? Tell you what cupcake, you enjoy your gum drop, candy cane, chutes and ladders dream world. You rest in peace and safety while I and my hated brothers-in-arms toe the line and stand guard. Go ahead and follow all the other lemmings in the world today right off that cliff of denial. I've been a bit harsh and lengthy in my tongue lashing so now I'll make it up to you with a very generous wish on your behalf. I hope that someday soon you will get what you ask for, that you will get to meet one of these reasonable fanatic followers of twisted Islam, be close enough to smell his breath and feel his hate. I wish this so that you can go ahead and see how well your diplomatic Joan Baiez (or how ever you spell it) tunes work on taming the beasts of prey. Well good luck on your casting for the new Michael Moore documentary "The life of Jane Fonda" You seem to be a dead ringer for the part. Lay off your beloved happy pills and join reality!

Yeah, that's right the ol' close minded bigot that is violentj is at it again. Not only am I being intolerant to that poor Hajji who was only following his beliefs (remember Islam is a religion of peace!) but I am also unfairly attacking, even slandering our intrepid president! What is to be done!?!

First off, the next time I hear any crap about the wonderful religion of Islam being deeply rooted in peace I am going to hit someone in the throat with a bat. Get all Berry Bonds on their windpipe. Next, I am going to address the Muslim-In-Chief's comments. GOOD COW! What else is there to say? This bozo who is supposed to be the highest ranking officer in the military has the nerve to get on international TV and say to not only the world but the families of the murdered and wounded terrorist victims "Not so fast people, we don't have all the answers yet, so let's not jump to any conclusions..... blah, blah, blah.... Bull crap, bull crap, bull crap.....".

Wow, uhhh.... I know a lot of the evidence is pretty circumstantial, other than the fact that Major Johnny Chimpo was always arguing with his co-workers (actual soldiers not hajji plants) that the wars were immoral and all that other tired liberal garbage. Oh and also that he had been sending and receiving messages on his computer that were terror oriented, but it wasn't so bad, just stuff like saying "Suicide bombers are brave and that they the same as a soldier that jumps on a grenade to save his buddies lives." Logical conclusions right?

Oh, and he was giving all his stuff away. Yeah, I know people who are going to kill themselves do that but that doesn't mean he was planning a suicide attack. Why would you keep your stuff in the provided, locked, on post storage till you come back from your deployment when you could give it all away and buy it again when you come home? DUH, silly!

Oh, but there is that tricky little part that is almost incriminating. You know, the one where hundreds of witnesses saw the same guy, HIM, shooting at them and murdering their buddies whom they were getting ready to go to war with. Oh, also the part where as he walked around the corner, shooting people, the Police Officer shot him four times after which he shot her..... Yeah, that part. (Which leads me to a sub-point, DON'T CARRY ANYTHING BUT A .45 ACP OR LARGER FOR DEFENSIVE PURPOSES!)

Man, it's a good thing we don't have all the facts as of yet, he almost looks guilty. I am sure the Dumbo eared, enlightened president knows something that we don't, he has so much integrity that I am positive he wouldn't let the fact that he is a closet Muslim affect his opinion and view of this terrorist attack. Oh, I did it again, I meant "man-made disaster".

Sorry Janet, it really is a good thing that you and your brown shirt buddies in the D.H.S. put out the warning that Christian, conservative, combat veteran, Soldiers and Vets. are a serious terror threat. No telling how many "man-made disasters" your insightful warning has saved us from, what with all the Christian, conservative vets that are in Al Qaida, Ansar Al-Islam, Al-Badr, Hezbollah, Abu Nidal, the Mahdi Militia, etc........ No, wait, those are all Muslims too...... huh, well I am sure that there are plenty of world renown gun toting, patriotic, Holy Roller terror organizations out there. OH! I know! If you ask his family and several of the major news outlets such as the Impeccable Communist News Network, or All Bull Crap, or even Nothing But Crap, the prejudice attitude of the military is why he murdered oops, allegedly murdered all those soldiers.

They were mean to the poor guy. [:'(] Jerks. His family offers another excuse reason. He worked at Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington, D.C. earlier in his enlistment... yeah, after that Army paid for his education.... and saw many young men come back with terrible wounds, it made him care so much that he simply HAD to go out and murder as many soldiers as he could so they wouldn't have the chance to be wounded! Even though just like all Hajji's he couldn't shoot for crap, according to the cops over 100 rounds fired point blank and not even a third hit their mark... Muslims for the Olympic shooting team anyone?

OH NO! My wife and kids went to Dr. appointments @ Walter Reed when I was in! They are ALL going to be mass murdering Terrorists now according to this line of thinking. I'll bet my 2 year old baby is loading my 30 round AR-15 magazines right now as you read this! The horror!

You know what. Let's just go ahead and blame THE REAL bad guys here.
